Analysis Services Databases

The SSAS databases screen displays each database in the instance side by side making it easy to compare characteristics and activity.

SSAS databases

The following are Analysis Services database properties shown for each database:
  • - Sessions (All)
  • - Sessions (Active)
  • - Sessions (Blocked)
  • - Estimated Size on disk (Mb)
  • - Is Loaded
  • - State (Is Processed)
  • - Last Processed (Date)

This view makes it very easy to get a "At A Glance" picture of databases on the server.
Being able to instantly see where current activity is occuring and where session or storage issues lie is a valuable tool.
