Enterprise View is the Mini DBA estate dashboard. It helps DBAs and managed service teams see database server health across one or more connected Mini DBA Engine instances.
When To Use Enterprise View
Use Enterprise View when you need to:
- Check whether the monitored estate is healthy.
- Compare servers across multiple engines.
- Spot problem databases or unavailable servers quickly.
- Start triage before drilling into a server-specific page.
- Review MSP-style environments where many customer or site engines feed one console.
What You Can See
Enterprise View can combine connected engine data such as server status, platform type, alert state, health summaries, and recent monitoring history. The exact data shown depends on which engines are connected and which database platforms are configured.
Using Enterprise View For Triage
- Start from the highest severity status.
- Identify the affected engine, server, and platform.
- Open the server from the navigation tree.
- Review activity, waits, queries, memory, files, or health checks depending on the symptom.
- Check Alerts for related alert records.
- Check Service Log if the issue appears to be engine connectivity or sampling related.
Multi-Engine Behavior
When more than one Mini DBA Engine is connected, Enterprise View becomes the main page for cross-engine operations. This is especially useful for managed service providers, distributed teams, and environments with separate engines per site, network, or customer. Use it with Mini DBA MSP Mode to understand engine ownership, selected-engine navigation, cross-engine alerts, and customer grouping.
Enterprise View Tips
Use Enterprise View as the morning check and incident starting point. Begin with unhealthy or unknown states, then decide whether the issue is a database problem, an engine connectivity problem, or a notification/reporting problem. This prevents teams from opening individual servers one by one when the estate dashboard already shows the priority order.
For MSP environments, name engines and server groups consistently. Clear naming makes it easier to identify customer, site, environment, and ownership from the dashboard before drilling into details.

Is Enterprise View the same as the global Alerts page?
No. Enterprise View is the dashboard for estate health. The global Alerts page is the alert triage workspace, including current active alerts across all connected engines.
