Settings Page


The Settings page manages Mini DBA Engine connections, engine health, licensing, service details, and links to integration and configuration subpages. It is one of the most important administrator pages in Mini DBA Console.

Worker Service Connections

The Worker Service Connections table shows each configured Mini DBA Engine. For each engine, the console shows:

  • Connection status.
  • Display name.
  • Engine service endpoint.
  • Engine role.
  • License type.
  • SQL connection usage.
  • License end date.
  • Last connected time.
  • A compact actions menu for connect, disconnect, edit, test, and remove.

Select an engine row to open detailed connection, health, and license information.

Add Or Edit An Engine Connection

  1. Select Connect Mini DBA Engine.
  2. Enter a display name.
  3. Enter the server name or IP address.
  4. Enter the engine service endpoint, or leave it blank to auto-derive the default endpoint for the engine host.
  5. Enter credentials if required.
  6. Choose whether to auto-connect on startup.
  7. Test the connection.
  8. Save and connect.

Engine Row Actions

The engine row action menu keeps the table compact. Use it to:

  • Connect or disconnect an engine.
  • Edit connection details.
  • Test an engine connection.
  • Remove an engine connection after confirmation.

Engine Details Modal

Mini DBA settings engine details modal

The engine details modal contains connection data, health data, and licensing data. It is also where administrators activate or deactivate an engine license.

Use the modal to review:

  • Engine service endpoint and HTTP endpoint.
  • Last successful connection and retry state.
  • Server version and startup status.
  • License display name, expiry, status, licensee, license code, and error messages.
  • Activation serial entry.
  • Deactivate License confirmation.
